Electric guitars from the AZ series represent a pleasant revival of the Ibanez catalogue. It offers the classic round neck and balanced asymmetrical body of the Super ST models.
The lime body of the AZ47P1QM-DEB is adorned with a spectacular flame maple veneer and an impressive Dragon Eye Burst finish. Thanks to the ergonomic shaping of the back of the body, the guitar fits perfectly in your hand. Glued to the maple neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck's heat treatment improves its stability, durability, and resistance to water and temperature fluctuations, while giving the guitar the look and feel of a mature/played instrument. Mother-of-Pearl position dots and luminescent markers on the side make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
The guitar is fitted with three passive pickups from the respected Di-Marzio brand with Alnico magnets, with the cob and neck humbuckers (the familiar H-H Tone Zone and Air Norton configuration) complemented by a True Velvet single-coil center pickup. The guitar's sound can thus be aggressively dynamic with precise tone articulation and great sustain, but also clean and warm. This makes it stand out in a wide range of musical genres. Standard sound adjustments include volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch.
Stable tuning and quick string changes are guaranteed by the Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines and the Gotoh T1502 tremolo with steel saddles and die-cast zinc tremolo block. The guitar comes in a gig bag with multi-tool.
