Electric guitars from the AZ series represent a pleasant revival of the Ibanez catalogue. It offers the classic round neck and balanced asymmetrical body of the Super ST models.
The lime body of the AZ24P1QM-DOB guitar is adorned with a spectacular puff maple veneer and an impressive Deep Ocean Blonde finish. Thanks to the ergonomic shaping of the back of the body, the guitar fits perfectly in your hand. The heat treatment of the guitar's maple neck and fingerboard improves the properties of the wood (stability, durability, resistance to water and temperature fluctuations) and gives the guitar the look and feel of a mature/played instrument. The fingerboard itself is fitted with twenty-two Jumbo size stainless steel frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position dots and luminescent markers on the side.
The Seymour Duncan Hyperion passive pickups (a kobyl humbucker and two single-coils) with Alnico 5 magnets and a milder output signal guarantee a clean, dynamic articulate sound even with higher hi-gain distortion. The dyna-MIX 9 pickup switching system (five-position blade switch and two-position alter switch) offers nine different pickup connection options, including split humbucker coils or single-coil series connection.
Stable tuning and fast string changes are guaranteed by the fit in the Gotoh MG-T locking tuning machines and the Gotoh T1502 tremolo with steel saddles and die-cast zinc tremolo block. The guitar comes in a gig bag with multi-tool.
