The AE series from Japanese brand Ibanez offers acoustic guitars with modern design, excellent playability and great sound projection.
The AE325-LGS model features a solid Sitka spruce soundboard, while the back and sides are made of overlaid veneered okoumé with an attractive wood grain. Carefully designed reduced X-M ribbing and rib placement ensures efficient transmission of string vibrations through the fingerboard to the body. Glued to the neck, composed of five pieces of mahogany and pau ferro, is an ebony makassar fingerboard fitted with twenty jumbo-sized frets. The neck's narrow "C" profile and the rounded edges of the fingerboard provide players with greater playing comfort, and thanks to the luminescent dots on the side, you'll have perfect visibility of movement on the fingerboard even in dark backlit environments.
Stable tuning and ideal resonance are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings through the bone-compensated saddle and zero fret in the company's high-quality 18:1 ratio gears and ebony fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer advantages over standard models in terms of ease of handling and firm string attachment. The guitar's design is enhanced by decorative elements in the form of a wooden fingerboard inlay with vine leaf motifs, a rosette composed of a mother-of-pearl ring and wooden lines, and a logo placed on the stylish headstock.
The guitar benefits from dual sound pickups, specifically an AP11 magnetic pickup installed to the guitar's fingerboard and an Ibanez T-bar piezo pickup underneath. Thanks to the guitar's two 6.3 mm jack outputs, the signal from both pickups can be sent independently to two different instruments (by connecting only via the Endpin Jack, the signal is mixed). The character of the sound can be shaped using the Tone and Volume controls discreetly located in the guitar's back.
