The ergonomic design of Ibanez Advanced Acoustic guitars builds on the insights gained from the AE series and the Fingerstyle collection. The new body shape of the Advanced Auditorium has slightly wider sides, shifted towards the neck, compared to the standard Auditorium models. Thanks to these changes, the guitar offers a richer sound in the lower mids and greater playing comfort.

The body of the AAM54-OPN acoustic guitar is made of sapele - the front plate is made of solid sapele, the back plate and sides of plywood. A purpleheart wood fingerboard with 20 frets is glued to the okoumé neck. Reduced X-M ribbing optimally transmits string vibrations throughout the body. An interesting feature is the specifically designed hole in the back of the instrument (A.I.R.port), which allows you to hear and feel what you are playing better.

The strings are mounted in chrome die-cast gears with an 18:1 gear ratio and a purpleheart fingerboard. Ibanez Advantage pegs offer advantages over standard models in terms of ease of handling and tight string attachment. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of a black body surround, a rosette composed of black and white rings and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell.
