On the occasion of the centenary of the production of chromatic harmonicas, the Hohner brand has introduced the Discovery 48 model, which sonically refers to the original, but whose ergonomic design clearly acknowledges the period of production. In addition to its elegant design, it offers good playing characteristics and sound quality. Its simple slide system allows you to play every note and expression, sophisticated jazz melodies, folk vocal lines or the choruses of popular hits.
The body of the instrument is made of durable ABS composite material. The harmonica also features stainless steel covers, forty-eight brass heads, 1.2 mm thick brass slices, wider channel openings for easier playing, and a three octave range.
With the harmonica, you also get access to online 30-day harmonica lessons directly from Hohner. The lesson is in English.
