It's safe to say that the design of the vast majority of harmonicas hasn't changed much in the last hundred years. The CX12 range of chromatic harmonicas is proof that the exception really does prove the rule. In their simple and practical construction and modern design, it's hard to find a connection to anything that could be associated with the popular term vintage.
The CX12 Jazz is based on the basic CX12 model, enriched with a red-gold finish. The body, cover and mouthpiece of the accordion in the original aerodynamic design is made of ABS composite material, which is as soundproof as possible. The instrument is thus able to produce a really powerful sound with a fast response. The narrower mouthpiece radius provides musicians with even better playing characteristics and comfort. The material and construction used ensures easy disassembly and maintenance of the instrument, as well as resistance to external influences. The harmonica also features forty-eight brass stops, 1.05 mm thick brass slices and a range of three octaves.
