The Linear 3 series is a professional PA system for bands, DJs and touring. The loudspeakers feature high sound pressure, a multi-ply birch plywood soundboard. The design of the Linear series is very durable and ideal for everyday demanding operation. The system is very flexible and will always give you a full sound system with faithful reproduction and reliable dynamics across the entire frequency spectrum. Like all active subwoofers in the LINEAR series, the LINEAR SUB 1800 A is equipped with a stereo input and can be configured as a half-stack, full stack, 2.1 setup, or as a mono subwoofer setup.
The LINEAR SUB 1800 A active subwoofer features 1200 watts of power, an 18" driver and 2.5" voice coils. On the rear panel there are stereo XLR outputs (Thru, Line Out - Mid/High), a switchable crossover for midrange satellites, Gain Bass, Phase control and a switch for adjusting the frequency response according to the speaker configuration. The Class D preamplifier features a Peak limiter, overload, overheat and voltage swing protection circuits. Four handles are incorporated into the design for ease of handling and an M20 threaded speaker socket.
