HK Audio ELEMENTS E 115 Sub D is a new system subwoofer compatible with modern network connectivity. 10 years ago, HK Audio set the standard in modern sound systems for live applications with the ELEMENTS series. Since then, the ELEMENTS series has become an established worldwide standard with over 100,000 units sold. With the new ELEMENTS E 115 Sub D system subwoofer, HK Audio now caters not only to customer demand for increased bass performance and intelligent modern features such as network connectivity, software remote control and Plug'n'Play Cardioid function.
Compared to previous models in the ELEMENTS series, the new 15″ power woofer coupled with a 1500W power amplifier provides noticeably higher sound pressure and extended low and sub bass response. As the centrepiece of your PA system, the subwoofer also includes a second upgraded 900 W amplifier that can easily build up to three HK E 435 or E 835 midrange units. Compared to previous analogue filters, it enables extremely efficient and detailed sound processing in the bass, midrange and treble. As a result of the aforementioned improvements, the entire line-up, including the satellites, performs at a whole new level, especially in terms of frequency response and sound resolution.
The new powerful control unit is the basis for a number of modern and practical features. These include the ability to fully interconnect multiple ELEMENTS stacks or even LINEAR 7 series loudspeaker models. With HK Audio's DSP CONTROL software, available for MacOS and Windows, even complex networks can be conveniently and clearly controlled from the position of the main sound desk. It allows you to adjust system and line volume, as well as use a fully parametric 10-band equalizer for band correction, including tunable upper and lower passbands, delay time, limiter and other parameters.
Another interesting feature is the effective and easy-to-use cardioid bass function. To use it, simply connect the HK Audio LINEAR SUB 1500 A extension subwoofer to the CARDIOID output, and the result is a forward-focused bass radiation with -30 dB rear bass suppression by application.
