Hammond SKX PRO

The Hammond SKX PRO portable two-manual organ is suitable for live performance or studio sessions. Thanks to its compact size and light weight, you can keep it close at hand at all times, while the sound quality easily matches the legendary Hammond B-3 Organ and Leslie combo. The organ offers the same features as Hammond's flagship instrument, the XK-5.

The organ features two rows of 61 waterfall keys with highly detailed sensitivity and dynamics. The main control panel then offers you 3 sets of harmonic cues, Pitch Bend/Modulation knobs, the iconic Half Moon switch 4 sound generators (organ, piano, ensemble, mono synth), knobs and buttons to control effects, a three-band equalizer and 100 factory or 100 user presets. You can then enrich the output signal with studio-quality effects such as Chorus, Vibrato, Reverb, classical organ sounds, or digital Leslie simulations. The colour display gives you maximum visibility.

The rear panel offers flexible connectivity in the form of line outputs, headphone output, MIDI In/Out, USB port, or quad pedal inputs (Expression, Footswitch 1 & 2, Damper). The sound and vintage design of this instrument will take you back to the 60's and 70's, but thanks to new technologies, it will make sure your playing fits perfectly into modern musical styles and genres.

About Hammond
The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond in 1934. His original intention was to replace the large church organ with a smaller instrument that could be easily transported, while building a cheaper alternative to the air-powered pipe organ. Eventually the hammond became so popular among keyboard players over the years in the 1960s and 1970s that today it can be heard in just about every genre of music from jazz to rock, blues, rock, church and gospel music. Today, the Hammond brand is owned by the Japanese Suzuki Musical Instrument Corporation and the European headquarters of Hammond Suzuki Europe is based in the Netherlands.
