Guitars from the Electromatic series are modern classics from Gretsch. Their unique sound, great style and playing comfort guarantee that once you pick them up, you won't want to let them go.

The more compact body of the semi-hollow single-cut G5655TG Electromatic Center Block Jr. Single-Cut is constructed from a plywood and chambered spruce center block that reinforces the guitar's soundboard. Glued to the maple neck with a Thin "U" profile is a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classical Thumbnail).

Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers give the guitar a full dynamic sound with good tone articulation and a slightly higher output signal than the Filter'Tron pickups offer, i.e. they are sonically a little closer to traditional humbuckers. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter, a Master Volume control and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.

Precise tuning is guaranteed by the Graphtech NuBone zero-fret string attachment in the company's die-cast tuning machines and Adjusto-Matic headstock. A licensed Bigsby B70 tremolo adds subtle sound effects to your playing. The classic eye-pleasing design of Gretsch guitars is accentuated by a number of stylish features - from the arched body construction, elegant binding with a subtle hint of patina (Aged White) and black and white pickguard, gold hardware to the Gold Plexi pickguard adorned with the black Gretsch corporate logo.
