Guitars from the Electromatic series are modern classics from Gretsch. Their unique sound, great style and playing comfort guarantee that once you pick them up, you won't want to let them go.
The body of the G5622T semi-hollow double-cut model is made of over-milled maple and a chambered spruce center block that reinforces the guitar's soundboard. Glued to the maple neck with a Thin "U" profile is a fig wood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classical Thumbnail).
Two Black Top Broad'Tron humbuckers give the guitar a full dynamic sound with good tone articulation and a slightly higher output signal than the Filter'Tron pickups offer, i.e. they are sonically a little closer to traditional humbuckers. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter, a Master Volume control and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
Precise tuning is guaranteed by mounting the strings via the Graphtech NuBone zero fret in the company's die-cast tuning machines and via the Adjusto-Matic tailpiece in the licensed Bigsby B70 tremolo. The guitar's stylish design is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of Aged White body binding, nickel hardware and Gold Plexi pickguard with black Gretsch corporate logo.
