Guitars from the Electromatic series are modern classics from Gretsch. Their unique sound, great style and playing comfort guarantee that once you pick them up, you won't want to let them go.
The arched body of the G5420LH Electromatic left-handed single-cut bass with enlarged F-holes is made of laminated maple. The use of trestle block bracing increases body strength, helps reduce susceptibility to feedback effects, and contributes to a more focused sound with faster attack and extended sustain. The new "Classic C" maple neck profile and 12-inch fingerboard radius offer increased playing comfort. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets and offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classical Thumbnail).
Two FT-5E Filter'Tron humbuckers give the guitar a full, punchy sound with excellent articulation of individual notes and chords. Adjust its character with two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter and an overall volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allows you to pull down the Master Volume without boosting the bass frequencies).
The strings are anchored via a Graph Tech NuBone zero fret in vintage-style open tuning machines and an Adjusto-Matic tailpiece seated on a wooden base in the stringers. The guitar's stylish design is accentuated by the Orange Stain finish, body and headstock binding, silver Plexi pickguard with black Gretsch logo and nickel hardware.
