Description of product

Jet electric guitars, whether they are models from the basic Electromatic series or the higher Professional series, are united by the use of a solid body with one or two cutouts. These are very versatile instruments that can be used in a wide range of musical styles without any problems.

The G5230T belongs to the Electromatic series mentioned above. Its shape is based on the popular LP concept. The body of the guitar is made of chambered mahogany and the top is made of laminated maple, which is surrounded by white binding with black and white trim. A black walnut fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets is glued to the mahogany neck with a Thin U profile. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classic Thumbnail).

The two Black Top Filter'Tron humbuckers accentuate the acoustic properties of the chambered body and provide the guitar with a balanced transparent sound with the necessary amount of clarity universally suitable for many musical styles, i.e. crystal clear tone and aggressive overdrive, depending on the player's needs. Controls in the form of a three-position pickup switch, two pickup volume potentiometers, a tone shutter, and an overall instrument volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing the Master Volume to be pulled down without accentuating the bass frequencies) offer comprehensive control over the character of the sound.

Strings are housed in Die-Cast's proprietary tuning machines and Bigsby tremolo. The stylish design of the instrument is suitably complemented by chrome hardware and a Silver Plexi pickguard with black Gretsch corporate logo.
