Junior Jet Club electric guitars from the Streamliner series offer the sound and feel of Gretsch instruments at an affordable price. These are versatile guitars with a simple design that can be easily used in a variety of musical styles.
The single-cut body of the G2215-P90 is made from nato wood. The bolt-on neck with a Thin U profile is glued to a figwood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classic Thumbnail).
The combination of a Broad'Tron pickup and P90 neck single in a soap bar design provide the guitar with a sound with solid bass and punchy mids, while also providing enough sonic versatility to be used in a wide range of musical styles. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
The strings are mounted over a synthetic bone fretboard in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and Wrap-Around stringers. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the pickguard in Cream Plexi finish with gold Gretsch logo, body binding and company logo on the headstock.
