The Godin Session HT Matte Black RN is an electric guitar in the classic ST shape that delights with quality workmanship and more contemporary features with an emphasis on playing comfort (such as a flatter 12-inch radius).
The body of the guitar is made of Canadian linden. The maple neck is glued to a fretboard made of indian laurel with twenty-two frets. Orientation on its surface is traditionally facilitated by position dots.
The combination of a humbucker at the bridge position and two proprietary single coils gives the guitar sonic versatility, so you can switch between country, jazz, blues or more modern driving rock with complete ease. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. In addition, the tone control has a Push/Pull function that allows you to split the humbucker coils for a pure single-coil sound.
The strings are mounted across the TusQ zero fret in tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio and a solid tailpiece. A semi-gloss finish in Matte Black and a handy white pickguard enhance the visual impact.
