The Gibson Victory electric guitars bring back the double-cut design that the brand used in the 1980s to respond to the growing popularity of the ST/Super ST models.
The ergonomically shaped and balanced mahogany body of the Victory Gold Mist Satin electric guitar is covered in a nitrocellulose satin lacquer. Glued to the mahogany neck with Slim Taper profile is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Medium Jumbo frets. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riff and chord playing at the zero fret, as well as comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions.
Two 80s Tribute humbuckers give the guitar the hot sound of 80s hard rock and metal, i.e. an articulate sound with punchy mids, tight bass, plenty of gain and nice sustain. Push/pull functions of the volume and tone controls enrich the instrument's sound spectrum with single-coil character - p/p volume control splits the humbucker coils, p/p tone control selects between inner and outer coils.
Stable tuning is guaranteed by the string attachment in the Grover Mini Rotomatic and TOM tailpiece and stringers. The stylish finish is accentuated by the Explorer headstock, five-ply black pickguard and chrome hardware.
