The Gibson ES-335 semi-hollowbody electric guitars are an absolutely versatile and good choice for studio and gigging - whatever your genre preference and gig type, they're a safe bet. The Gibson ES Supreme models extend the versatility of the ES-335 even further, while bringing a range of impressive decorative features to the more visually restrained ES range.
The body of the ES Supreme Bourbon Burst is made from three layers of laminated maple and poplar, with the top made from visually striking AAA-quality figured maple. The soundboard is reinforced by a solid maple centre block. The wood grain is accentuated by a thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer that allows the wood to breathe. Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Maximum playing comfort is guaranteed by the rounded Rounded "C" neck profile and compound radius fingerboard. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by pearl position markers (Mother of Pearl Super Split Block).
The coils of the Burstbucker Lead Pro and Rhythm Pro humbuckers can be split by flipping the volume knobs to change the full warm humbucker sound to single-coil. With this guitar, you really don't have to think about whether you're going to play a country, jazz or rock gig. Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the Graphtech zero fret in the Grover Locking mechanism with Keystone pegs, and via the Nashville TOM aluminium bridge in the stringers. The luxurious workmanship is accentuated by the multi-layered double-sided body binding, gold-finished hardware and pearl inlay on the headstock inspired by a Gibson design from the 1940s that was discovered in the brand's archives.
The guitar comes in a case along with a set of accessories.
