An exact replica of the famous "Happy Jack" burst. This legendary guitar was released to the masters of the Gibson Custom Shop by acclaimed collector Vic da Pra, author of the "Burst Believers" book series.
Between 2010 and 2017, Gibson released a total of 39 guitars in the Collector's Choice edition, offering players around the world the opportunity to own replicas of truly unique vintage guitars. In fact, Gibson contacted prominent collectors around the world, and some of them agreed to have their treasures literally X-rayed and re-crafted in detail in Gibson's workshop - Murphy Lab, which has preserved every scratch and battle wound that completes the true vintage feel.
One of the sought-after features of Les Pauls is the highly prized and carefully selected maple top - exactly what you'll encounter when you meet this ultimate instrument. The top has a straightforward dimensional look, with the 3D effect causing different patterns to be seen from different angles on the maple top. And it is literally a feast for the eyes.
The 59 Medium profile neck, along with the True Historic specs (super-thin nitro lacquer, select woods, hide-glue gluing), provides the authenticity and feel of playing that an original 1959 instrument would have provided. The tone is accentuated by Gibson Custombucker pickups, replicas of the original PAF humbuckers.
The guitar is in collectible condition. Weight 4,06 Kg. Original case of course.
