The Furch Violet series introduces affordable acoustic guitars in all-solid woods from 2022 onwards, which will impress you with their stylish natural look, quality craftsmanship and balanced sound.

The Furch Violet Gc-SM CNR Active is an acoustic guitar with a modern Grand Auditorium body shape suitable for fingerpicking and picking. The front of the guitar is made from carefully selected Sitka spruce, while the back and sides are made from AA quality African mahogany. The Open-Pore finish with open deep pores brings out the natural texture of the wood. Individual tuning of the soundboard brings the acoustic properties of the instrument to the highest possible level.

The CNR System Active bracing ensures the instrument's durability and good playability (matchmaking) even in the harshest climatic conditions, i.e. the system adapts the neck adjustment to changes in humidity. This system also allows quick and easy adjustment of the neck (increasing or decreasing the afterburner).

Precise and stable tuning is guaranteed by the company's chrome-plated mechanics with a gear ratio of 1:18. The frets with shortened feet deliberately do not extend to the edges of the ebony fingerboard - this prevents them from climbing out due to the fingerboard shrinking at lower humidity. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the perimeter body trim, pickguard and rosette in black contrasting finish.

Few Czech products have such a worldwide reputation as Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time. Today, the company's acoustic guitars are played by Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa and many others.
