Furch Vintage 1 Series acoustic guitars offer an attractive guitar design with a variety of natural decorative details and a rich, balanced sound.
The all-massive body of the Vintage 1 D-SM LH left-handed dreadnought is composed of an AA-quality Sitka spruce soundboard and an African mahogany (AA) back and sides. The combination of these woods, along with innovative manufacturing techniques, gives the guitar a superbly balanced sound with slightly accentuated highs and soft bass. The ultra-thin, consistent UV Full-Pore Satin Finish maximizes the guitar's resonance while providing the ultimate protection. Furch CNR System two-way neck bracing adds strength, stability and durability to the neck. The excellent acoustic properties of the instruments are enhanced by the special ribbing on the soundboard.
Orientation on the ebony fingerboard is facilitated by white mother-of-pearl side and front position markers. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the Gotoh SE700 nickel-tone mechanics with a gear ratio of 1:15. The nice workmanship is accentuated by a rosette consisting of a double ring with walnut inlay and ivory imitation binding. The instrument comes in a quality Hiscox case.
