Red acoustic guitars are the imaginary flagship of the standard Furch acoustic guitar range. These instruments combine premium materials of the highest quality, the most advanced manufacturing and construction technologies including front and back tuning, and exclusive details that make these instruments true musical jewels.

SR guitars are made from Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, enhances the acoustic properties of the guitars, provides excellent protection for the surface of the wood and accentuates its natural texture. Furch CNR System two-way neck bracing increases the strength, stability and durability of the neck.

The instrument's extremely impressive appearance is emphasised by the combination of a fingerboard, headstock and headplate made from exclusive Ziricote wood, the body, fingerboard and headstock binding made from Hawaiian koa with white contrasting lines, and a premium rosette composed of solid Hawaiian koa and a pearl ring (Abalone). The transparent pickguard lets the natural grain of the wood stand out while not affecting the resonance of the soundboard. The exotic Ziricote wood fingerboard surface is decorated with decorative mother-of-pearl leaves. The high-end Gotoh 510 mechanics in silver patina with polished ebony pegs and a gear ratio of 1:21 guarantee stable tuning.

Few Czech products have such a worldwide reputation as Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time.
