Red acoustic guitars are the imaginary flagship of the standard Furch acoustic guitar range. These instruments combine premium materials of the highest quality, the most advanced manufacturing and construction technologies including front and back tuning, and exclusive details that make these instruments true musical jewels.

The Red Dc-LC model is made from Alpine spruce and exotic cocobolo wood. It is a popular Dreadnought model with a bulky construction and a big dynamic sound. The Full-Pore High-Gloss finish, a full-pore, high-gloss lacquer finish, improves the acoustic properties of the guitars, provides excellent surface protection and enhances the natural texture of the wood. Furch CNR System two-way neck bracing increases the strength, stability and durability of the neck.

The guitar's luxurious look is accentuated by the combination of a fingerboard, headstock and headstock plate made from exclusive Central American Ziricote wood, and a fretboard and premium Hawaiian Koa ring rosette complemented by pearl abalone. The transparent pickguard lets the natural grain of the wood stand out while not affecting the resonance of the soundboard. The fingerboard surface is decorated with a pearl inlay in the shape of a leaf, and a similar pattern of green abalone was used on the headstock. Stable tuning is guaranteed by top-quality Gotoh 510 mechanics in silver patina with polished ebony pegs and a gear ratio of 1:21.

Few Czech products have the worldwide reputation of Furch guitars. The company started in 1981 in one of the many garages of socialist Czechoslovakia, still illegal at the time. Today, the company's acoustic guitars are played by Suzanne Vega, Glen Hansard, David Knopfler, Aneta Langerová, David Koller, Xavier Baumaxa and many others.
