Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen

The Scarlett 2i2 is the most versatile model in the Scarlett 3rd generation soundcard series. Its compact size and light weight are sure to please all musicians and composers across musical genres. Through two combined inputs, it offers the ability to easily simultaneously record instruments and vocals. The 2i2 features two line inputs and a headphone output with separate volume control. It also offers high quality AD/DA converters capable of up to 24 -bit/192 kHz resolution or microphone preamps with AIR mode to simulate the legendary ISA preamps. The third generation Scarlett has significantly less distortion and latency, greater signal-to-noise ratio or more headroom. Connectivity via USB-C is a new feature.

The latest version of the Scarlett microphone preamps offers a more balanced and wider Gain control potentiometer than before, allowing for very smooth adjustment of input levels. For safety, the analog input and output sections are equipped with circuitry to protect the soundcard from unwanted signal spikes.
