The new and improved Clarett+ 2 Pre audio interface is the successor to the successful Clarett product line suitable for home recording studios, music producers and musicians. Thanks to its compact size and USB power option, it will also find use on the road. It has A/D and D/A converters with a maximum resolution of up to 24-bit/192kHz and a dynamic range of up to 118dB. The AIR circuit emulates the impedance and resonance characteristics of the input transformers of the legendary ISA110 series studio preamplifiers. This results in an airy and clear sound with ultra-low distortion and minimal noise, amounting to only -110 dB. Another special feature is the Gain potentiometers with a perfectly linear gain waveform. Then, of course, there is the 48V phantom power supply.
The Clarett+ 2 Pre has 2 combined microphone and instrument HiZ inputs. The ADAT interface accommodates a further 8 inputs and the rear panel offers 4 line TRS outputs. Connectivity is extended by a headphone output and MIDI In/Out. The new USB-C allows direct power without the need for a DC adapter, however an adapter is included for when connecting via USB 2.0 and higher. A pair of USB cables and a software package of music applications, including a rich library of sounds and samples, complete the equipment.
Hitmaker Expansion Package
The software package is now expanded with new plug-ins that take your audio to a professional level and greatly simplify the entire recording and post-production process. The Hitmaker Expansion includes Auto-tune Access for vocals, Relab's unique LX480 Essentials studio reverb, Softube Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 virtual tube amp, XLN Addictive Drums and Keys, 2 plugins and Polysynth by Brainworx, Focusrite Red 2 & 3 (EQ and compressor), or a three month license of Splice Sounds and Pro Tools.
