The front of the Voyager concert ukulele is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the back of the back is made of solid acacia, which softens the piercing spruce top. For neck and fingerboard materials, the choice fell on tried and tested woods, African mahogany and rosewood, used in premium instruments. Playing comfort is elevated to a higher level by the ebony shoulder rest.

Tuning stability and excellent sustain are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings through the saddle and the bone fret in the open tuning mechanisms and the string-through headstock, a concept taken from guitar design where the strings are attached through the headstock and through the front plate of the ukulele. The quality of the workmanship is well illustrated by the modern headstock design, gloss finish of the top and decorative elements in the form of ebony binding and mother-of-pearl rosette.
