Flight's Rock Series brings the world of ukuleles and electric guitars closer together. Featuring instruments with the dimensions of a ukulele and a design derived from electric guitars.
The solid mahogany body of the Vanguard tenor ukulele is adorned with a spectacular veneer of flamed maple. The double-cut body shape is based on the design of famous electric guitars. A rosewood fingerboard with nineteen frets is glued to the mahogany neck. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers.
Two humbuckers and controls in the form of volume potentiometers, tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch give the instrument a punch of realism. The strings are anchored in stylish chrome-plated guitar-style mechanics and through a solid bridge through the body of the guitar. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the ABS body and fingerboard perimeter binding.
The ukulele comes in a gig bag with 15 mm padding and a front pocket for storing small accessories.
