Flight's Royal Series is a full-size electro-acoustic ukulele with a number of interesting design features. These instruments represent the best of the brand's current offerings. Together with the instrument you will also purchase a stylish padded case (20 mm padding) in the royal colours of burgundy red with a touch of purple.
The body of the Fireball tenor ukulele is made from solid mango wood, which offers a beautifully warm, rich sound in addition to a nice wood grain. The choice of neck and fingerboard materials is the tried and tested African mahogany and rosewood used in premium instruments. Good matching at the higher positions of the fingerboard is facilitated by the elegant lower body cutaway.
Tuning stability and excellent sustain are guaranteed by the anchoring of the strings through the compensated saddle and the bone zero fret in the open tuners and rosewood fingerboard. The quality of the workmanship is well illustrated by the modern headstock design, the gloss finish of the top and the decorative elements in stained maple (purfling, rosette and shoulder rest).
Sound reinforcement is provided by active electronics with a preamp installed in the instrument's soundhole.
