The Supernatural Series by Flight offers attractive models of ukuleles made from exotic woods (dao, mango, ebony, amara, acacia, puff ash), where the wood grain is complemented by decorative position markings on the fingerboard and decorative inlays on the headstock. Thanks to their affordability, they are a great choice for beginning ukulele players, but they certainly won't offend experienced players either.
The body of this concert ukulele is made of laminated dao/paldao, a wood with impressive grain originating from Southeast Asia. The natural resonance of the ukulele is enhanced by the gently arched back plate. The neck and fingerboard of the instrument are made of African okoumé and walnut, which is also a fairly commonly used combination of woods. The strings are anchored via a bone fretboard and saddle fret in a Die-Cast Geared tuning mechanism and a walnut fingerboard. The appearance of the ukulele is enhanced by the aforementioned decorative inlays on the fingerboard and headstock and a rosette with a distinctive walnut ring.
