Fender Steve Harris Precision Bass MN RBM

(1) Electric Bass Guitar / HN154235
The Precision Bass, Fender's first electric bass model, was introduced in 1951. It was therefore the first ever mass-produced electric bass. The "PB" earned the name "Precision" because, unlike double basses, the fingerboard was roasted - bassists could play with more "precision". In addition, it offered a more concrete and crisp tone. This model has gone through a long evolution over the last few decades and today you can find it in the hands of bassists from blues to R&B to rock.

This particular model is the signature of bassist Steve Harris - player of the legendary Iron Maiden. There's a huge chunk of metal history hidden in this instrument.

The body of this Precision bass is made of two pieces of maple. The "U" neck is maple and features 20 Medium Jumbo frets. The gauge is 864 mm long, the radius of the maple fingerboard corresponds to 184 mm. The zero fret is 41 mm wide.

The sound here is taken care of by a Seymour Duncan Steve Harris Signature P Bass SPB-4 pickup. Its sound can be controlled using the volume and tone potentiometers. The headstock is marked Fender High Mass.
