The Fender Squier Paranormal series makes the unconventional hybrid electric guitar designs familiar from the American Parallel Universe series and the Mexican Alternate Reality series available to guitarists on a limited budget. The instruments in the Fender Squier Paranormal line are simply proof that even so-called "budget" guitars can look cool.
The Limited Edition Paranormal Offset Telecaster SJ Olympic White is an electric guitar from the brand's limited series that combines in one body the design elements of the Telecaster and Jazzmaster models, from which it takes the poplar offset body. The narrow maple neck with a "C" profile is glued to a figured fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by position blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl.
Two Fender Designed alnico single-coil pickups take care of the guitar's sound system, i.e. a Tele single-coil pickup and a Jazzmaster neck pickup. Standard volume and tone controls feature push/pull functions and allow you to switch the phase of the pickups and between series and parallel wiring. Strings are mounted in vintage-style tuning machines and via a Tele bridge with three saddles through the body. The styling is accentuated by the Telecaster control plate, imitation tortoiseshell pickguard and Olympic White finish.
