The Fender Squier Contemporary Jaguar HH ST is an affordable instrument with a typical offset body shape that will please both beginners and experienced guitarists who like the now classic shape of electric guitars while preferring a contemporary sound and modern touches.
The body of the guitar is made of poplar. The neck is made of heat-treated roasted maple and the fingerboard is made of fig tree with twenty-two jumbo frets. Playing comfort is enhanced by a flatter twelve-inch fingerboard radius, a nice narrower "C" neck profile and a rounded neck foot. Players with smaller fingers will appreciate the instrument's shorter (610 mm) menza. Position dots make it easier to navigate the fingerboard surface.
Two Squier Atomic humbuckers give the guitar a modern, solid sound without unwanted hum. The volume and tone controls are complemented by two switches that can be used to split the pickup coils (coil-tap) or switch between parallel and series pickup connections. Stability of tuning is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings in the Die-Cast mechanisms and in the adjustable bridge and stringers. The stylish look is accentuated by details in the form of chrome hardware, black three-layer pickguard or painted headstock.
