The Fender Squier Classic Vibe '50s Precision Bass is a great instrument for those who want the classic sound and feel of a Precision Bass, but don't want to invest in a more expensive original. Its qualities make it appreciated by both beginners and advanced players. The instrument was inspired by the retro design of the 50's and will offer you the massive sound you are used to with these instruments, the atypical pickup configuration that was especially popular in bands playing country or southern rock has also been preserved.
The Precision Bass, Fender's first electric bass model, was introduced in 1951. It was therefore the first ever mass-produced electric bass. The name "Precision" was earned by the "PB" because, unlike double basses, the fingerboard was roasted - bassists could therefore play more "precisely". In addition, it offered a more specific and crisp tone. This model has gone through a long evolution over the last few decades and today you can find it in the hands of bassists from blues to R&B to rock.
As well as being a stylish affair at first glance, this bass has a classic 864mm gauge and a comfortable C profile neck that makes it very comfortable to play. The Classic Vibe '50s pickup configuration brings the best of the Precision Bass models and, along with the volume and tone control, delivers a wide range of sonic possibilities to use in any style.
