Squier Affinity Series electric guitars represent Fender's most popular electric guitar designs at a fraction of the price of the originals. This makes them the ideal choice for aspiring guitarists and musicians who would like to get a Stratocaster, Telecaster or Jazzmaster but don't want to invest a huge amount of money in buying one.
The lightweight and narrower poplar body of the Affinity Series Telecaster FMT SH Crimson Red Transparent is adorned with a spectacular flamed maple top veneer and Crimson Red Transparent finish. The bolt-on maple neck with a comfortable "C" profile is glued to a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl position dots.
A single-coil tailpiece and neck humbucker with ceramic magnets give the guitar both the classic Telecaster "twang" and a fuller humbucker sound. The strings are anchored in the company's chrome die-cast tuners and through the Tele's steel saddles through the body of the guitar. The stylish finish is accentuated by a three-layer white pickguard.
