Squier Affinity Series electric guitars represent Fender's most popular electric guitar designs at a fraction of the price of the originals. This makes them the ideal choice for aspiring guitarists and musicians who would like to get a Stratocaster, Telecaster or Jazzmaster but don't want to invest a huge amount of money in buying one.
The slim and lightweight body of the Affinity Series Jaguar Mystic Metallic Brown is made of poplar. A maple fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets is glued to a bolted maple neck with a narrower "C" profile. Players with smaller fingers will appreciate the instrument's shorter gauge (610 mm). Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by black position dots.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two Squier single-coil pickups with ceramic magnets. You can adjust the character of the sound using the volume and tone controls and the three-position pickup switch.
The strings are mounted in the company's chrome die-cast mechanics and vintage-style tremolo. The stylish finish is accentuated by the Mystic Metallic Brown color scheme and three-ply white pickguard.
