The combination of acoustic guitars with distorted overdrive/distortion effects brings with it a number of problems - the resulting sound is usually not worth much, and you have to count on the feedback effect, which reliably destroys all hopes for a decent result. The Smolder Acoustic OD analogue pedal effect from American brand Fender solves these problems reliably.
This is a compact acoustic overdrive/distortion pedal with original Fedner circuitry and built-in cabinet simulation to spice up the distorted sound played through an FRFR acoustic or PA. The character of the sound is set by default using the three-band EQ and four other controls - Drive determines the amount of distortion, Level acts as a signal boost to the acoustic sound, Blend determines the ratio of clean to distorted signal (Wet/Dry) and Pickup Compensation, which cultivates the attack of the piezo pickup and softens the sound in the high frequencies.
The chassis of the box is made of lightweight and durable anodized aluminum. The LED backlit potentiometers give you a perfect overview of the current settings even in the dark corners of the stage - anyone who has ever picked up a "black Peter" and played on stage in the dark will surely understand. The effect is powered by a 9V adapter (not included) or a 9V battery.
