Fender Ritchie Blackmore Stratocaster RW OW

Electric Guitar / HN104536
This Stratocaster is the signature model of the world-famous English guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, author of many famous rock riffs (Smoke on the Water) whose solo playing and neoclassical feel influenced generations of guitarists (Malmsteen, etc.). The guitar's design is based on Blackmoor's popular 1970s model, including authentic asymmetrical fingerboard picking and special pickups.

The body of the guitar is made of alder with a gloss polyester lacquer finish. A bolted maple neck with a U profile is glued to a select rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Style frets. The effect of the picked fretboard becomes apparent on thick strings (E, A, D) from the fourth/fifth fret of the guitar, on thinner strings (G, H, E) immediately and the picking becomes more pronounced towards the higher positions of the fretboard. Picking fingerboard designs are generally preferred by guitarists for the ability to play fast with a light fret (no need for significant string plucking) and easy string pulling (bending). The neck of the guitar can be tightened/tightened using a brace with a Bullet nut or a Micro-Tilt mechanism allowing for detailed adjustment.

Two Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound SSL-4 single-coil pickups (at the neck and fretboard positions) give the instrument the authentic tone and feel of R. Blackmoor guitars, ideal for wading through the waters of rock, neoclassical shred or hard rock. The Kobylka pickup has reverse polarity/reverse winding for hum suppression, the previously unmentioned center pickup is a dummy pickup. Two tone controls, a volume potentiometer and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.

The strings are mounted over a faux bone fret in closed tuning machines (Vintage F Stamped)) and a traditional single-turn synchronized tremolo. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by the company's signature logo on the headstock, a period-authentic 1970s F stamped neck plate held in place by three screws, built-in tabs for the strap safety locks, chrome hardware and a three-layer pickguard that also protects the lacquer from scratches.

The guitar comes in a deluxe gig bag.
