Fender MTG Tube Distortion

There are many guitar effects on the market today that try to emulate the distortion of tube amplifiers. The MTG Tube Distortion pedal from American brand Fender goes a different route and uses a real preamp tube, the USA-made 6205. It offers a pure warm tube sound in the form of a compact effect.
It's a low/mid-gain distortion pedal that blues and classic rock players will appreciate more than modern metal (Bruce Egnater, a maker of high-end boutique guitars, was involved in its development). The traditional three-band EQ (bass, mids, treble) is complemented by the Tight control, whose setting determines the character of the tone in the bass frequencies (tighter/open). The separately switchable Boost section offers, in addition to a selectable volume "kick", a gain boost for great-sounding guitar solos.
The chassis of the box is made of lightweight and durable anodized aluminum. LED backlit potentiometers give you a perfect overview of the current settings even in the dark corners of the stage - anyone who has ever picked up a "black Peter" and played on stage in the dark will surely understand. The effect is powered by a 9V adapter (not included).
