Fender Player Series electric guitars represent the brand's basic quality range with a definite plus in the form of value for money. Although these are not US-Made guitars (they are made in Ensenada, Mexico), they are also subject to comprehensive output control.
The alder body of the Player Telecaster from the brand's limited series is decorated with an Oxblood finish. The bolted maple neck with a pleasing Modern C profile is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers on the fingerboard facilitate orientation.
Two Pure Vintage '64 single-coil Telecaster pickups give the guitar the typical Telecaster "twang" and feel. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch. The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and through a solid bridge with six steel saddles through the body. The stylish finish is accentuated by a single-layer Telecaster pickguard in anodised aluminium.
