Fender JMJ Road Worn Mustang Bass RW BLK

(1) Electric Bass Guitar / HN195590
In bassist and producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen's resume, you'll find collaborations with bands and artists such as Garbage, Paramore, M83, Drake, Jimmy Eat World, Nine Inch Nails, Beck, The Mars Volta and the Dixie Chicks, but he's also known as a big fan of Fender Mustang instruments. It was his personal 1967 bass that was the basis for the signature JMJ model that you can now own.

The construction is truly classic, with an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, but it's also such a proven combination that, together with the Seymour Duncan split single-coil pickup, it delivers a truly versatile, full and punchy sound. A big part of this is the short menza, which also affects playability in a very positive way.

The bass is finished in Road Worn, so the instrument's lacquer finish, four-ply pearl pickguard and hardware all contribute to the overall impression of a seasoned stage harpist. However, the bass is of course brand new and comes in a deluxe gig bag.
