Fender's Highway Series electroacoustic guitars combine traditional craftsmanship with innovative design. The instruments feature a narrow ergonomic thinline design, innovative Tapered Floating X ribbing and sound pickups using the Fishman Fluence Acoustic Pickup System.
The compact Highway Series Parlor All-Mahogany body is constructed with a chambered mahogany back and sides and a solid mahogany soundboard. Combined with Tapered Floating X ribbing, the guitar body offers a dynamic organic tone and excellent resonance. Glued to the mahogany neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty frets, with white position dots making it easy to navigate.
The Fishman Fluence Acoustic Pickup, with its Fluence Core magnetic pickup and purely analogue technology, gives the guitar a pure and truly musical amplified sound and great resistance to feedback effects. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the Graphtech TusQ zero and saddle fret string attachment in the company's 6-in-line electric guitar design and Modern Viking headstock.
The instrument comes in a deluxe 1225 gig bag.
