Very little played instrument from 2023, after the first owner! Almost new guitar.
The Custom Shop 65 Stratocaster Closet Classic DKR electric guitar from the Fender Custom Shop is part of the Time Machine line - authentic replicas of vintage originals made using the same techniques, finished to perfection with a finish true to the age and wear of the 1960s originals.
The body of this Stratocaster is made from two pieces of alder. The Closet Classic finish, with subtle elements of faux patina signed in the lacquer and on the hardware, matches the appearance of a conscientiously cared-for instrument that hasn't come to harm in x number of decades. Glued to the maple neck (quartersawn) is a fingerboard of select dark rosewood (AAA quality) fitted with twenty-one vintage-size frets and mother-of-pearl position dots.
Matching tone and feel are provided by the guitar's three single-coil 65 Strat pickups. You adjust the character of the sound using the standard controls, i.e. the volume knob, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch. The strings are anchored by vintage-style tuning machines and a classic Strat tremolo.
The instrument is sold including the original case and all accessories under the BAZAR VAT scheme.
