Fender and contemporary country music star Brad Paisley have joined forces to create a new model of Telecaster guitar that fully reflects his playing style. Now a piece of Nashville can come to your living room.
The body of the guitar is made of spruce top and bottom and a core of the less common exotic wood pavlovnia. This gives it a lower weight and resonance similar to acoustic instruments. The bolt-on maple neck with its pleasing Enhanced V profile fits your hand quite naturally; whether you're fifteen or seventy years old. The maple fingerboard is fitted with twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets, allowing your fingers to produce good-sized bends and fast movement across the entire fingerboard.
Two single-coil pickups take care of the sound, namely a Custom BP Spec Vintage-Style Tele and an SD Secret Agent neck hidden under the pickguard. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position toggle switch. The strings are anchored via a faux bone fretboard in vintage-design mechanicals and a solid cob with compensated brass saddles. The stylish look is accentuated by a pickguard with "paisley" motifs in black and silver and elements of faux patina (Road Worn finish).
