Fender American Vintage II 1966 Olympic White

Electric Bass Guitar / HN247285
Fender 's American Vintage II series features electric basses with the authentic workmanship, sound and feel of the famous originals to which the year in the name refers. The instruments in this series offer you an imaginary trip back in time and the opportunity to buy a brand new Fender in a design from the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s.

The American Vintage II 1966 has a very comfortable U neck made of rosewood and fitted with a maple fingerboard with twenty high frets. Mother-of-pearl dots are a given. The body is alder and, in addition to two tone screens and a master volume knob, it carries a pickguard made of four layers of tortoiseshell.

This instrument is a direct descendant of the original Fender basses. It is designed for the discerning player who also desires the classic sound of the original models and superior craftsmanship.
