Fender's American Vintage II series features electric guitars with the authentic workmanship, sound and feel of the famous originals to which the year in the name refers. The instruments in this series offer you an imaginary trip back in time and the opportunity to buy a brand new Fender in a design from the 1950s, 1960s or 1970s.
The alder body of the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster Left-Hand Fiesta Red left-hand electric guitar is covered in a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer that not only allows the wood to breathe and doesn't muffle its sound, but also adds a distinctly personal touch as the years go by. Glued to the maple neck with a period-authentic 1961 C profile is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets.
Pure Vintage '61 Single-Coil Strat pickups give the guitar an authentic period sound and feel. The character of the tone can be adjusted with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position toggle switch. The strings are housed in Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines and a synchronized tremolo with steel block and steel saddles.
The stylish workmanship is accentuated by a three-layer pickguard.
The guitar comes in a case.
