Fender's American Ultra electric guitars build on the success of the Elite series. They combine the timeless design of Fender instruments with the most modern features. This will especially please musicians who prefer maximum flexibility in their guitars.

The ergonomically shaped body, the new "Modern D" profile of the maple neck, the rounded edges of the fingerboard and the bevelled neck foot for better control at higher fretboard positions all contribute to the excellent playing characteristics of these instruments. The compound fingerboard radius (10" - 14") and twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets offer an ideal platform for both chord playing and fast shred solos.

Two single-coil Ultra Noiseless pickups give the guitar a vintage and properly rock-distorted sound that is free of annoying hum thanks to Noiseless technology. A volume knob with built-in S-1 switch, tone shield and three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. Activation of the S-1 switch changes the connection of the pickups from parallel to serial.

Tuning stability is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings through the bone zero fret in the Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking mechanism and in the solid six-saddle chrome-plated brass headstock with string anchorage through the body. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by the company logo on the headstock and a three-layer white pickguard that also protects the lacquer from scratches.
