Description of product

Fender's American Ultra electric guitars build on the success of the Elite series. They combine the timeless design of Fender instruments with the most modern features. This will especially please musicians who prefer maximum flexibility in their guitars.

The ergonomically shaped body, the new "Modern D" profile of the maple neck, the rounded edges of the fingerboard and the bevelled neck foot for better control at higher fretboard positions all contribute to the excellent playing characteristics of these instruments. The compound fingerboard radius (10" - 14") and twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets offer an ideal platform for both chord playing and fast shred solos.

Three single-coil Ultra Noiseless pickups give the guitar a vintage and properly rock-distorted sound that is free of annoying hum thanks to Noiseless technology. A volume control with built-in S-1 switch, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. Activating the S-1 switch offers three more alternative pickup connections (adding a neck pickup in positions 1, 2, 3), so the guitar has a total of eight different pickup configuration options.

Tuning stability is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the bone zero fret in closed locking mechanisms (Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking) and in a synchronized tremolo with two-point attachment. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by the company logo on the headstock and a three-layer pickguard that also protects the lacquer from scratches.
