Fender American Ultra electric guitars combine the timeless design of Fender instruments with the most modern features. This makes them particularly pleasing for musicians who prefer maximum flexibility in their guitars.
The ergonomically shaped body of the ULTRA LUXE STRAT HSS FR MN is made of alder. The augmented "D" profile of the maple neck, rounded edges of the maple fingerboard and beveled neck foot offer maximum playing comfort and ease of touch across the entire fingerboard. Twenty-two Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets and a compound fretboard radius (10" - 14") that flattens towards the body allow for comfortable chord and riff playing at the zero fret as well as ultra-fast shred at higher fret positions.
The combination of an Ultra Double Tap humbucker and two Ultra Noiseless single-coil pickups gives the guitar a wide variety of sounds (from vintage to properly rock-distorted) that are free of annoying hum thanks to Noiseless technology. A volume control with built-in S-1 switch, two tone controls and a five-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The S-1 switch turns the full humbucker sound into a clean articulate single-coil tone while maintaining the same volume.
The strings are unconventionally anchored in a Floyd Rose tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Tuning stability is guaranteed by the locking zero fret and Deluxe Staggered Cast/Sealed Locking mechanisms.
The guitar is supplied in a case shaped to fit the instrument.
