For more than 60 years, the Fender Jazz Bass has been an absolute classic that's been through every genre of music. The American Professional II takes inspiration from these instruments and takes them even further to meet the demands of professional players today.

The neck profile is the popular "Slim C" type, and this model also features ground-in fingerboard edges. Together with the "Super Natural" matte finish and ergonomically shaped grip to the body, this provides very comfortable playing and easy access even to the higher positions of the fingerboard.

The sound is handled by the new V-Mod II split-coil pickup model, which brings a whole new level of clarity while retaining the classic piercing, clear sound that Jazz Bass models are famous for.

The strings are anchored in a High Mass Vintage headstock, which provides great vibration transfer and also allows the strings to be attached from both the top of the body and through it. On the other side, you'll find Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style mechanics.
