Fender 1982 Stratocaster Dan Smith era S9

Boutique Electric Guitar / HN272748
Fender Stratocaster from the last and very promising era of the Fullerton factory. Unfortunately, the top manager Dan Smith could not save the Fender brand from being sold, but for a short time he managed to make the production of the Fullerton factory high quality again and in the beginning of the eighties to continue the sixties.

This black stratocaster has four bolts in the neck joint and a slightly thinner headstock compared to previous guitars from the 1970s. Otherwise, the guitar is almost unchanged from previous generations. The body is alder, the neck is maple. The pickups are newer with plastic pickup bases. Sonically, it is a typical strat, whose sound is carried by a trio of single pickups, thanks to which it offers a wide range of tones.

Everything on the instrument is original. The neck is dated 1982, the potentiometers 1978. The frets are original.

The guitar is being sold including the original case, which includes the original receipt, this Fender was purchased new in Switzerland in early 1983. Excellent condition, BAZAAR VAT regime.
