This is a tool for players. We don't think this bass is going to hang on the wall. It is a very comfortable precision with minor modifications that increase sonic variability while leaving a vintage sounding character. It surprises with a very sonorous and resonant body with a balanced tone.
The bass has new frets and an added "JB" pickup, which is reflected in the modified electronics (both modifications were done by Peter Jurkovic). The last position marker on the fingerboard is missing, there is a small hole at the controls from a previous switch installation, and the pickguard is cracked at the corner. Overall, the bass has suffered a few common cosmetic scratches in its lifetime, such as scuffed lacquer on the sides of the body. The neck, however, is in excellent condition. The instrument has newer strap rolls.
Dates belong to the turn of 1976 and 1977. Accessories include a hard case.
